PS Don't really know what the camps are like in the green season as I have only travelled in June each time as we don't like heat or insects and we do like the high water levels in the Delta... works out well for us.

There must be some fellow posters who are green season travellers though?

You're killing me! I finally had my husband talked into Africa but your India trip sounds so perfect. The only thing we would do differently is stay at Aman-i-Khas to be true to our Aman junkie nature.

My husband, who travels extensively - says it is one of his favorite cities. He recommends a Thai restaurant at the Dusit if you're into Thai food. You will see a lot of Indian people there, so you will feel comfortable coming off of your India trip. He also had fun shopping by the Gold souk for spices. The gold itself is not all that impressive - at least nothing worth buying, but fun to look.
