Help me plan a trip quick!

Our China trip has fallen through and we're considering a trip to Africa. After carefully planning for almost a yr, I don't have time to do the fine research. We need to go in mid June for 14-19 days. What will the weather be like, and where should we go?? Johannesburg and Capetown sound good, but want to go to reserves/animal parks...

You seem to be in a hurry so lets save some time by you firtsty answering some quick questions. Once I and others know the answers to these questions I am sure we will all be able to somehow or other help you with a tourplan that will make you wonder why you ever thought of travelling to China in the first place. )

1. What sort of budget will you be on:

Super luxury

2. How many of you are travelling?

3. Besides animals and game parks what other interests do you have.

4. Will you be flying into SA via Johannesburg or Cape Town? Important to know for direction of planning.

5. Besides seeing animals in Africa is there anything else that you definitely want to put onto your travel agenda?

If you answer the above then I, and I am sure many others, will all pitch in to help you make your journey a memorable one.

thanks. There ae two of us. Mid 50's. We are seasoned travelers. We like learning about people/culture. We want beautiful scenery (vic. falls) anxious for game preserve and "safari's" we love animals. Want bush walks and jeep tours both. Upscale price range, but will do some things luxury and budget too to get the experience.
don't mind driving or tent accomod. Can do Jburg or Capetown no plans yet. Would prefer small group tour. Prefer to do cities on our own not on a tour. I have a special email if that is better than taking up space here Please Help. We need to go in mid june [email protected]

Also, you'll need a good specialist agent (to get best prices). Where are you based, one of us may be able to recommend.

For game viewing, Botswana combines very well with South Africa and is ideal if you have a higher budget.

As an example, you could spend a few nights in Cape Town and on the garden route, a week on safari taking in 3 camps in Botswana (I'd recommend two regular land camps and one water camp) and a short extension to see Victoria Falls. That would be about right for 19 days, I believe.

Anyway, that's just an initial idea...
