Dubai for 36 hours hotel recommendation

My family and I arrive late at night mid May have a full day then fly out next day at 8:00am so want a hotel location not too far from airport but still have the activities that make Dubai famous.

Because such a short trip price not important, looks like so many amazing options.

Your recommendations are appreciated.

Best..

Stay somewhere central, which is around Burj Khalifa. It's about 15 min. by taxi from the airport and from there it's easy to visit other parts of the city.

Dubai is not a big city, but staying central makes good sense. You can also consider one of the hotels in Shaikh Zayed Road near the Trade Centre, this is also 15 - 20 minutes from the airport. The CONRAD gets good reviews,

If you want to be near the beach, a very nice location is Madinat Jumeirah (it's next to Burj Al Arab) - 20/25 min. drive from the airport.
Madinat has a few luxury hotels, lots of restaurants, souks, shops.
Sheikh Zayed Rd., which is a 2x 7-lane highway, is nice because you're amidst the tall buildings but it's a very busy road.

Yes, Madinat is a nice area. I thought May would be too hot for the beach. It is usually around 36 - 39C then, so not impossible to go for a quick swim in the lovely clear water of the Persian Gulf! The area in Shaikh Zayed Road, as well as near the Burj Khalifa, is near Dubai Mall (which you may want to see, but perhaps not if you have only one precious day). You should perhaps tell us what you would like to experience, then we could give you better guidance.

Armani Hotel in the Burj Khalifa is a great hotel! It also has an underground connection to the Dubai Mall so you can shop, etc. without having to stand in the sun
