Kavey, we decided.

We are going. I can't belive that you, Liz and a few others have so much influence on my travels.
Now, when would be the best time for Kenya and Tanzania combined?

Dodgersmom, thank you for your kind words.
I hope you will love your safari as much as we did. Is this going to be your first safari? I bet it won't be your last trip to Africa

I am with Liz, give us more details

Thank you all, Kavey, Liz, SusanLynn, Dodgersmom.
And now it is time to start planning. Do you think I will have some fun just thinking and reading about all those places we should revisit and so many new places to chose from? Would you?

What a great report! I am newly registered on this site as I--just like Dodgersmom -- leave 17 Aug. for 12 days in Nairobi/Kenya.
I will look to see if Dodger has started a new thread re: her upcoming trip and if not I will start one. I am interested in hearing from people who have been to East Africa at this time of year - all reports say weather should be pleasant and mil, but your first-hand accounts are welcome.
Thank you and happy trails!
