Gifts for Safari Guides
 

We are going on safari this week and I am looking for any suggestions for gifts to take along for our guides and other people we may meet. Looking for some easy to pack ideas that people may appreciate. We are going to Mala Mala. Thanks for the tips.

They all loved baseball caps with your State logo or tee shirts with US team logos.

You mean in addition to tipping or instead of tips?

Definately in addition to the suggested tips. Like people in food service and cruise employees, tips are a major part of their pay, and a baseball hat also appreciated won't buy their family food.

We became good friends with two safari guides and were able to talk about tipping. Both agreed that any extra tip is much better than t-shirt, hat or pens.
