Getting into Israel w/ a Syrian stamp

I know that you can't get into Syria with an Israeli stamp in your passport, but what about the other way around?

There should not be a problem.

Of course, you might be asked a few questions... After all, Syria today is one of the world's main terrorist's center.

Just as when coming back to the USA, you would probably be asked a few questions.

I have a client who is a distributor for auto parts, and constantly traveling to the Mideast, including all the Arab countries and Israel. No problem. He just asks the Israelis not to stamp his American Passport. They use a separate card that he returns on leaving Israel.
