Getting from Johannesburg (JNB) to Seronera (SEU) in a day

Long time reader, first time contributor - thanks in advance for your help.

Here's our dilemma:

We are arriving in Johannesburg (JNB) at 0530 - 8 October, 2013 and would like to reach Seronera (SEU) no later than 5pm on the same day for transfers to our lodge.

I have investigated the obvious route of JNB-DAR-ARK-SEU (via a combination of South African and Precision) however this gets us to Arusha by around 6pm, too late for Seronera and land transfers to the lodge after sunset.

I did some brief detective work on Jo'burg to Kigali, however connections via Coastal appeared limited to a 6am multi-stop option which doesn't work.

Staying in Arusha isn't exactly a big deal (in fact, could be a bit of fun), but our preference is to get the flights and travel out of the way and avoid an additional stop if possible.

Any help or guidance is greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Plan on staying in Arusha overnight, depart for SER next morning which flight departs about 8am with possible stops at Lake Manyara before arriving SER. You're on holiday, so why add anymore pressure to what will otherwise be a great experience... slow down a bit so your tummy isn't moving everywhere.

There's a saying 'when you leave New York, you're on the road' - well, it's much the same when it comes to internal Africa travel - you can't always get there from wherever! Limited schedules/hours and costly, besides possibility of flight cancellations.
