Game Lodge Newsletters...
Does anybody know of any game lodges that regularly post updates on their websites?
The only ones that I know I can rely are the updates posted weekly by Robin Pope Safaris in South Luangwa and Wilderness Safaris for their lodges in Botswana, Zimbabwe, Malawi and Namibia.
www.robinpopesafaris.net (in the "It's Monday" link)
www.wilderness-safaris.com
And, not from a game lodge, but rather from a tour operator, the "Leopards Of Simbambili" series is updated at least twice per week and offers excellent footage on the wildlife around Simbambili Game Lodge in the Sabi Sand:

While other lodges post an occasional update, they seem to be flakey about it.

This is an excellent question!
I would love to have a complete list myself.
Currently, IMO the best one for East Africa (Mara migration, etc) is
http://www.atta.co.uk/heritage/index.html
Governors in Masai Mara here:

Ndutu in NCA here:

Here's my favorite Africa website:
http://www.eyesonafrica.net/news.htm
EyesOnAfrica.net has a wonderful news page that has monthly updates from a variety of Southern African lodges (some better than others). On the same page are top news stories/happenings.
The site also has, in my opinion, the best collection of lodge photographs on the internet.
I could spend hours browsing this site.

Thanks for the suggestions.
It seems that Eyes On Africa has nicely organized each of Wilderness Safaris monthly reports that are also available directly on Wilderness Safaris website.
Too bad more game lodges do not take the time to post reports. I would think it would be an unmatched marketing tool, but what do I know?
I really wish more of them, besides the text reports would incorporate photograpshs the way that Robin Pope Safaris does with their "It's Monday" and TAGA Safaris does with the "Leopards Of Simbambili."

MalaMala keeps a "Weekly Cyberdiary" on their website that is updated weekly and stored by month.
They also keep up with all the different sightings of lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhinoceros, cheetah and wild dogs by map and by statistics. The maps show male sightings and female sightings. Very detailed records.
Statistics example of Leopards:
Leopard were viewed on 355 days of 2004.
The most leopards recorded in a single day during 2004 was 9.
There were an average of 3.7 leopard sightings daily in 2003.
There were 31 occasions when in excess of 8 leopard were viewed in a single day during 2003.
There were only 7 days in 2002 when leopard were not seen on MalaMala.
The most number of leopard seen in a single day during 2002, numbered 11 cats in 7 sightings.
The records on leopard go back to 1999.
Ciberdiary is at http://www.malamala.tv/diary.htm and the links to all the other information is there.

Ruthie,
Wow, that is a great website I had entirely missed before. That opens up reports to 16 game lodges in 6 different countries!
Thanks to everybody for the contributions so far in this thread.

This is another site where I wait eagerly for the weekly update. It's a mix of some of the lodges own newsletters and information from various other sources re travel to Africa.
Sadly they have not been as regular over the last couple of months. Nevertheless there's a good history which is useful for seeing what goes on at different times of year.
