Fun Screensaver
I recently discovered a feature on my laptop to make a slideshow of my photos for the screensaver. It's so much fun to walk into the room and see a different photo each time and bring back great memories. I also set this up on my work computer. It's a great conversation piece and always keeps me smiling. Just wanted to share with you all.

Carla, I know the feeling. I have travel photos and grandchild photos on my screensaver. It makes me smile every time I look. (I almost don't even want to use the computer so I can enjoy the screensaver!!)

Carla-
Have you been living under a rock? This "new" feature has been available for about a decade thank you very much. It is very kind of you to share your new discover but it's like telling people that you can record movies off the TV with a VCR. we know. |
Riverchick: I think Carla has been spending time driving her Jeep over rocks8-) rather than living under one. Lots of people do not know all the features of their computers and those that do may want a little inspiration to update their slideshow!
Carla: glad you have a great reminder of your travels whenever forced indoors to a computer, its always nice to start that time with a good feeling. |
News to me MS. New Joorsey

Carla,
I discovered that feature quite by accident - still don't know how it happened - after I installed my Africa pictures. I just love the constant slideshow and never get tired of looking at them. I like them even better then Webshots! :-) |
Thanks, Carla. Count me as another one that didn't know about that feature. How do you do it? (I guess I'll try it if I can get out from under this big rock.)
|
Phew, it was nasty under that rock! Good thing I got my new Jeep to get me out of that jam.
My desktop is 8 yrs old and doesn't have that feature and my 1 yr old lap top does, so yes it is a new feature for ME. Now I must go try to figure out how to use my VCR...what a great day! |
Carla, when you figure out how to set the time of day on a vcr, come on over!!!
