france to nairobi airfare?

Hello, i will be in Paris and am meeting my hubby in Nairobi in July and am wondering if anyone knows of airlines that go to Nairobi from CDG? I am having no luck on the web. Thanks, Cari

As I recall, there are two airports in Paris -- you may want to try the other one -- I believe it is Orly. Otherwise, you may want to go to Amsterdam and fly KLM.

hi, what is sidestep? i went to klm website but couldnt find cdg to nairobi. couldnt find anything really.

On "sidestep" the flight goes from CDG to AMS, then onto NBO. It's probably a KLM CityHopper shuttle (1-hr flight or less) from CDG to KLM. But I must say the prices they show for r/t is very high - more than twice what you could probably get if going direct to KLM.

SN Brussels Airlines has direct flights to Nairobi, apparently cheaper than KLM in July. You can easily get from Paris to Brussels by Thalys high-speed train.

There are no nonstop or direct flights from Paris to Nairobi. You'll have to fly to Amsterdam or Heathrow to connect. From AMS, there's a daily flight operated by KLM which departs at 10:45am in July and another codeshare flight operated by Kenya Airways that departs in the evening. From Heathrow, there are flights on BA and Kenya Airways.

If you go to the KLM website, you might have to change your country setting to France to be able to price flights departing CDG (same with BA site).

Another possible option is SWISS from Zurich, although I don't think that flight operates daily.

You can fly from Zurich and Brussels (that is where AA routes you thru if you don't fly via London) so you might try those.

Operation days of flights from Zurich and Brussels to Nairobi (same days both directions)

SWISS - Mo/We/Fr

SN Brussels -Mo/Tu/We/Fr/Sa (some flights make 1 stop in Kigali)

KLM and BA both operate daily flights (in addition to the daily flight, BA has a second flight that operates 3x weekly). Kenya Airways varies depending on the season. I believe their current schedule is on their website. Hope this helps.
