For lovers of African Wildlife in California

If you love the wildlife of Africa, you might want to check out The Wildlife Conservation Expo on Oct. 16 and 17 in the San Francisco Bay Area.
A unique event, with a super lineup of speakers.
For elephant lovers, Iain Douglas Hamilton of Save the Elephants, and researcher Cynthia Moss

For cat lovers, Cheetah Conservation Botswana's Rebecca Klein and Cheetah Conservation Funds Laurie Marker.

Other speakers/ topics cover Wild Dogs in Zimbabwe, Ethiopian Wolf, and the Congo's Okapi. (And wildlife in other areas of the world will get attention too-- Snow Leopards, Andean Mountain Cats and Orangutans and more .

Info is at www.wildnet.org

A wildlife fix without going to Africa!

This is an excellent event...highly recommended! The non-profit group that sponsors it sends 100% of donations to conservation projects.

Wow, I just checked out the information and it sounds like an amazing event. I wish it was in Los Angeles, instead of a 6 hour drive away. This will definitely go on the personal schedule for next year if it stays in California. It's doubtful I will be able to attend this years event.
