I don't think I'll fly American Airlines economy overseas again. So uncomfortable. The free "headphone" on AA was a joke: totally useless and hurt my ears. The movie choices were movies from last year and not some of the current ones that were shown on the European airline. But this might be an issue with all American airlines.

It seems like the European airlines give passengers more space and more comfort. British Airway from LHR to Cairo and back was great. I also had a very good experience with a Danish airline.

On long flights I always pick the ailse seat - easy for me to make bathroom runs and get up and stretch my legs - and then hope that the person seated next to me is skinny and the person in front of me doesn't like to recline his seat too far back.

Bellac-
What about the entertainment? Was it in the seatback or overhead movie?
Thanks!

HI Bellac: So sorry to hear about your flight on Delta. We leave this Friday on Delta out of JFK.
Hope we have better service and the entertainment works. We used our miles to upgrade to
Business so hope it is more comfortable. (I am not a great flier). How was the trip to Egypt
otherwise? Did you have a good time. Thanks for the help. Johanna
