first safari - help with itinerary needed

plans have now changed thanks to family deciding that south africa would be a better destination for us. i'll certainly try to remember all the great tips I've had from OPs if i ever mamnage to persuade them to go on a "proper" safari!

I think you can still have your proper safari in South Africa. Here's another guy who thinks so too.

thanks Lynn - i agree that Sabi and Kruger could offer us a proper safari in south africa - trouble is that the family want to pack so much else in as well, making Shamwari and/or Addo much more "doable" for us.
Perhaps another time if it's just me and DH.
