finding long term housing

I am planning to move to Morocco and I have no idea how to find hosing!? I look online and I don't know if can trust the info given and I am sure it's exspsive. We are hoping g to move to Merkkeche... any suggestions? And good clean areas that are good for kids to live in?

There are some very reasonably priced apartments in Marrakech on Airbnb:

I used $50 a night, apartments, 4 people as the filters. Put in your own for a more accurate search. You can negotiate with owners before booking for a longer-term deal.

Book one for a month and then find a place you like better, if necessary, after you arrive. It makes no sense to make a long-term deal without seeing what you'll be getting. So rent short-term to start and go from there.
