Envious! Why didn't you invite me?

ccipups Sep 14th, 2010 05:56 PM

You already saw a leopard?! Sonali, what a wonderful beginning. I'm looking forward to reading more.

Crosscheck, you're not allowed to go on another one in mid trip report. I think that's a rule.

The Mara delivers. Thanks for the update from the field, Sonali. I look forward to more. Have fun and take many photos!

My attorney has checked out all the Fodors bylaws and couldn't find anything about not traveling during an in-progress trip report. Must be in the fine print in the lounge, which I tried to avoid. Can I get a waiver?

Our serial-killer cheetah's name is Honey. Ask for her when you get to Olare Orok. Word has it that her adolescent sons are hopeless at hunting, so she operates like clockwork every 36-48 hours.

cheetah Honey?
Also a rather famous (BBC Big Cat Week/Diary) cheetah named Honey with 3 boys. Sad, she was accidentally killed by a vet's blunder in 2007.

That's awful. Maybe Honey is a common name for cheetahs. But it's more likely I saw her name somewhere else and got confused. I will try to find out her correct name.
