"Do not change" - i was referring to Samburu
i agree with the other writers' remarks about lodges
for example the TA does not even mention Samburu Game Lodge - personally i would prefer it over Intrepids because of location. (i don't like doing over & over on every game-drive, that etretch of road that leads to Intrepids...)
also: when i come on safari, the differences in room, service or food are not that important for me.
Serena is usually on a somewhat higher standard than Game lodge (not that the latter is bad) - if it has to do with budget, there's no reason not to switch from Intrepids
Yes Serena & GameLodge are more crowded, not tented, BUT most exciting things happen outside, in the park. and their balconies offer more wildlife sightings than Intrepids!
(without counting the leopard baiting which i'm against and tend to ignore)
