Final advice needed: Sept. Mara Migration

I just need this last bit of advice -

If you were to spend 5 - 6 days in the Mara from Sept. 10, 2005, then, in an effort to afford yourself the best opportunity to view the migration, at which camp or camps would you stay?

Thanks so much!

By September the migration is spread throughout the Mara and the prized river crossings are less frequent. You should still try and base yourself near a river so my suggestion would be Serena or Governors combined with Rekero or Mara Explorer. During migration I recommend you use 2 camps. Don't fly from one camp to the next, ask for a land transfer so that you can enjoy extra game viewing.

Cottars camp is not next to a river but has an excellent elevated position on a private area close to Tanzanian border and not too far from Sand River. It is very expensive however.

A tip - if you request full day game drives when you arrive you might get lucky with game drives without other guests in the vehicle.
