Female travel buddy needed
 

I am a straight 60-ish female who has found my perfect trip to Botswana and Victoria Falls. However, the friend I've been traveling with can't go and I can't afford the single supplement. Anyone out there interested in a great trip? It's with 2Afrika, who I've traveled with before. I'll be glad to provide the details if you're interested.

If no one is interested in this trip, does anyone know of a site I can go to in order to find a travel companion. I used to have access to columns listing people who needed a companion for a trip, but no longer belong to these travel groups. I wouldn't mind being the lone female in a tour group, but my budget doesn't extend to paying the single supplement, espec. on this trip.

retiredatlast - did you ever check out Overseas Adventure Travel (OAT). They have a Botswana/Vic Falls itinerary, which might be different then what 2Afrika is offering, but their prices are excellent. The groups are small - maximum 16, and if you are willing to share and they can't find a roomie for you, you don't have to pay the single supplement.
