Family Visit - June - Help Required
Greetings from India...
We are a family of 9 including 2 senior citizens (above 80 yrs) and a toddler.
We are taking a Cruise from Haifa in June end and thought of seeing Israel for abt 4 to 5 days before boarding the Cruise.
I have a couple of questions and i request for suggestions to help us plan better...
1. Where can we stay in Israel...Tel Aviv OR Jerusalem. We hear that Tel Aviv is quite expensive. Our budget for twin room occupancy is abt 150$ per day including breakfast. Which of the two places can we choose and see all sights for the next 4 days and return back in evening without tiring ourselves too much.
2. Since we have two senior citizens and a toddler, we would prefer having a guided private tour everyday with vehicle and guide. Would appreciate suggestions in this regard please.
3. On return from the Cruise, how much would taxi cost from Haifa to Tel Aviv Airport.
4. While we would not want to do a "Holy Land" tour, we definitely want to cover all the Christian religious sites
5. Any good local restaurants to try local / Mediterranean cuisine.
6. Are they activities for toddlers in israel ...also for teenage kids that we can do...
