OAT Jordan/Egypt Leaving Nov 6

Anyone else out there on this trip? The pre-trip Jordan leaves on the 6th of November, with the Egyptian part of the trip beginning Nov 11 in Cairo, with OAT (Overseas Adventure Travel). Hope there are some fellow travelers out there!

We went on this same OAT journey last spring and can confirm that this was a wonderful experience -- excellent guide, excellent pacing, excellent food, excellent riverboat and hotel accommodations. Can furnish detailed trip report if you supply email address.

wanderlust, I've seen your posts before trying to find someone else on your trip. I have also posted before and am going to try again, too. I'm leaving with OAT November 20 for Jordan first and then Egypt on the 25th. I would also love to hear from anybody. I have heard from other people who have already traveled with OAT that you receive a list of others going with you before you go. Not sure if there is any contact info, though. Maybe it comes with the final documents? I haven't received anything yet.

Bobbysue: you should receive a list of fellow OAT travelers -- names and home towns -- about two to three weeks before you leave. This list comes along with your final documents.

Thanks USNR. I take it from that there is no contact info such as an e-mail address with the list. Approximately what age range was your group? I guess that varies quite a bit. We're 58 and 59, which I guess is about mid-range for OAT.

I have no talent at guessing either a person's age or his/her weight -- and that way I keep what friends I have.

But I would estimate your ages would have been about middle of the range for the group we were in. Some people fool me -- I can't keep up with some of those 80 and above. Especially the ladies.

Hi Wanderlust5:
My husband and I are on your trip! We leave from JFK. Where are you coming from? I wrote down your yahoo address and will follow through on that path to reach you also.
