essouira to casablanca and Marrakech restaurants

what is the best way to get from essouira to casablanca to catch a 2pm flight?
and what are some must-do restaurants in Marrakech? Dar Moha, Tobsil, Yarcout, Dar Marjana?
Many thanks!!

We ate at both Dar Moha and Tobsil during our Xmas 2006 visit and loved both. I'd say Dar Moha had the edge but both were fantastic.

The bus (Supratours) from Essaouira to Marrakech takes 3 hours and connects to the train going from Marrakech to Casablanca which once again takes about 3 hours. I did this trip last week - leaving Essaouira at 11.30am, I reached Casablanca at 6pm+. There might be delays too. So I think it's safest if you returned to Casablanca the night before. Hope that helped.

Thanks! We're leaving for Morocco in a few hours!! Please post if you have more comments - I will check every so often.

Recently took the supratour bus from Marr-Ess r/t. It was clean, smooth, on time, but all seats were sold, so try and buy them a couple days ahead of time. If I recall, they had about 3 or 4 trips per day in each direction.

Lucky you. I wish I was leaving for Morocco in a few hours.

Have a great time and I hope you'll post something when you return -- even if it's just your overall impression.

I dined at the Red House in Marrakesh and enjoyed it.
