Any experience with Ultimate Safaris?

My husband and I have ruled out doing a self-drive trip and are looking into a small group trip. Has anyone had experience with Ultimate Safaris (based out of Windhoek but with US partners)? Any other companies that you'd highly recommend? We'd like to spend about 10-14 days, and avoid fly-ins because of the cost. We are not luxury travelers, but would probably prefer fixed accommodations to mobile camping.

Hi Gail
I did a trip with Ultimate Safaris in 2014. It was over 12 nights travelling by private 4x4 with a dedicated guide. Only 2 other guests on this trip but I know some other trips have more guests.
All accommodation was of a very high standard and meals and all park fees were included.
Gillian at Ultimate in Windoek was great to deal with and there were no problems whatsoever.
You are welcome to PM me if you would like any further details.
Kind regards
Elaine

Thanks Janisj
I did not realise that. Must have been thinking of another forum.

I did a trip with them about ten years ago. I found them very easy to work with, and the trip was great. We stayed at modest, comfortable places that were well chosen.
