Email in Israel

If I want to stay in touch with home through email, can I do it through Internet cafe's in Israel, or is there any public access dial-up available? Any other solution?

I would write to some of the Internet cafes in Israel and ask them for advice.
I also recall the new version of Lonely Planet for Israel lists an option for dial up access. A good site for global Internet cafes is

We stayed at the Mt. Zion Hotel in Jerusalem last year and they had an internet kiosk in the lobby. I think you will find them quite common.

Try "Strudel's" in Jerusalem; located off Jaffa, near Zion Square in the Russian compund.Bar/Restaurant. There are quite a few similar cafes in the general area. Also, there are a number in Tel Aviv; one in particulare is on King George Street. The going rate last year was 20 NIS for a half hour.
