Elephant walk @ Baines Camp

My husband and I are planning a trip
to Botswana in the next year and have read w/ interest about the
elephant walk at Baines & Stanley
camps. But I have been unable to
find out the approximate cost, other
than "pricey." Can someone give us
an idea of what it costs?

Thanks!

according to their website, it is $292-$396 pp, depending on the season.

I did this walk from Stanley's Camp and paid approximately US$335 in October. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have..

Hi eksrunchy,

I have heard you must reserve this
activity pretty far in advance. Is it very difficult to arrange this
activity due to availability? It looks like a fantastic thing to
experience.

I did this activity last month, and I can verify that it's worth every penny! You'll find some of my photos here:

I was told that I should reserve it before I arrived but did not do so; I waited until the day of arrival at Stanley's (I spent 3 nights there). But perhaps I would have been out of luck if there were more participants and it had been booked out by the time I arrived. There were about 12 in our group, as I remember; I am sure there is a limit as to how many can participate each day..

Great pictures MisterAviator! Can't remember your itinerary but where were you with the octopus? The elephant walk looked like it was a lot of fun! Thanks!
