dmlove, thanks for your input. I know there is way more to see beyond Cairo, but when you travel with young children you have to make choices and compromise. I don't know that we'll go this time, but maybe next year. And when we do, we'll be sure to be extra careful on the streets of Cairo! Love the bit about following an older person.
