Hi Elizabeth - Thank you so much for your informative emails! I just returned from my 2 week trip to Egypt and Jordan this past December 2012. It was AMAZING. I am so glad we decided to book our tour with Ahmed Hamed Yousif ([email protected]). You were absolutely right - Ahmed made all of our travel arrangements and we could not have asked for better. I was initially worried about travelling to Egypt but Ahmed really made us feel safe. In fact, I would argue that now is the best time to travel to Egypt. The prices were really reasonable and it was nice to be able to walk around the tourist sites without the normal big crowds. We also stayed at the Mena House in Cairo. It was fantastic waking up right next to the Great Pyramid. I would highly recommend Abu Simbel. I loved the Nile Cruise and all of the temple sites on the way to Luxor. Ahmed truly did an amazing job by arranging a 5 star trip for less than the big tour operators. All of the guides Ahmed hired in Egypt and Jordan were smart, informative and great fun. I would definitely go back to Egypt in a heartbeat!!
