Egypt Tour from the UK?

I understand it is much less expensive to take an Egyptian Tour from the UK (than from the US). I often have to go to the UK (London). Can anyone verify this and/or supply the name(s) of reputable yet reasonable travel agents in the UK handling Egyptian tours. Thanx

You are probably right. Suggest you try Jules Verne, they always seem to have some good special offers. Try their web site at www.vjv.co.uk. Others you could try include Page and Moy or Kuoni. Best of luck. The Nile cruise is fantastic!!!

For a mid-range tour, try The Imaginative Traveller, a UK-based tor company. We're planning to travel with them in April and we've heard good reports.
Apparently much more flexibility than the 5-star companies

I think it is cheaper from the UK since the distance is less. A friend looked at prices for July and found one on Lufthansa for $1200 something from Dallas via Frankfurt. You can call British Air or EgyptAir for their prices. If you want excellent tours for good prices you can contact the British Museum travel office. All are on the internet.
