As long as I'm alive to "remember it", I'm OK. I just have to keep telling them I don't mind NOT being the first one to my destination. I just want to arrive alive.

We crossed the 6th October bridge in a taxi on our way to the Egyptian Museum. It was early on the weekend (as I remember) so there wasn't much traffic. The car was from about 1975. The guy went 90 kph (55 mph) while traversing lanes like a slalom skier. From then on we were happy to be stuck in traffic just to keep the speed down.

Hey, on the ring road, we saw a guy throw his car in reverse and <i>back up</i> (at high speed, to pick up someone on the side of the road) with everyone else going 65 mph around him!
