Egypt multiple-entry visa

Next month I will be flying to Cairo, leaving the same afternoon for Jordan, and then returning to Cairo 5 days later. I assume I will need a multiple-entry visa for Egypt. I am planning to get our visas at the Cairo airport. Is there any difference in procedure for the multiple-entry visa, or is it just a matter of price difference?

If you're only transiting thru Cairo on arrival before the afternoon flight - are you leaving the airport? If not, you won't need a Visa until you return from Jordan. Assume you'll then be spending some time in Egypt!

Even if departing transit lounge and staying in Cairo for a few hours - pressume you're flying Egypt Air to Cairo and the return home - the single entry is probably all you need.

The single entry Visa which is available on arrival is inexpensive... about $10 and if you require a multiple (which I doubt) only a few dollars more. Wait until you arrive, but have sufficient USD for the Visa.
