Egypt - May vs. October

Am I correct that the number of tourists would be considerably higher in October as opposed to May?
I went in May two years ago and although it was hot I didn't find it unbearable. Plus our guide told us several times that we were lucky there were so few people around at different sites. Often we were the only people there -- earlier in the spring it was jam-packed.

For me, less people beats nicer temps so I'm thinking about returning in May again. Any advice on what October would be like?

no wisdom to be shared?

Oct is pretty popular and the temps in Oct are not that low. You have to wait until Nov for the more comfortable temps. May will be less crowded I think.

Thanks Debbie.
I like the idea of May better anyway so I can be there on my birthday :)
If we fly in early the first day I'd love to plan another outing with you for that afternoon - will have to look into your offerings as the date approaches.
