Egypt/Israel & Morocco

Looking for suggestions on reasonably-priced tours to Egypt, Israel and Morocco. Is ten days enough and if not, what should we cut out? Is December a good month to go? What should we definitely not miss seeing? Should we take a tour that includes a cruise? How safe is it for women to sightsee and shop by themselves?

Hi Lia,
Firstly, Egypt & Israel and a long way from Morocco so if you have so little time forget Morocco (usually it's combined with Spain not the Middle East). Even doing Egypt & Israel in only 10 days would be hardly worth it what with travel times. I spent 2 weeks in Morocco and could have stayed much longer. I would suggest if your time is not flexible to go to Egypt for 10 days - about the norm for most tours there. You need several days in and around Cairo and another 4 at least to go on a Nile cruise to see the majority of sites. Some folks do Egypt on their own and love it, but most (like ourselves for the first time) seem to opt for a tour company for convenience and mostly safety.
Narrow your search in the 'text search' boxes at the top of this site by typing in Egypt and you will get to read dozens of great questions and answers with tons of info which will help you in your planning. Happy travels
