Good Night to my fellow Canadian and to judi_in_quatemala
and of course to sandi, who many comments on this board I have appreciated and valued very much. |
Percy - asante sana (Swahili for "thank you")
|
sandi:
Hujambo ( How are you )! Sana Karibu ( You are welcome) . I do not know too many more beyond these !! Take care |
Thank you, fellow Canadians, Percy, DaveJJ and jmvp.
Gracias, judi_in_guatemala. Asante sana, sandi. Your help is appreciated. Lots of rain and thunder storms in Southern Ontario this weekend. It's pouring outside just now. Really, haven't had any summer like weather since the start of the summer season. |
Percy - Me to... just the basics and pleasantries to get me thru. I'm not too good at languages to the extent of having a real conversation.

I have only skimmed the last part of the thread because it mostly seemed like a language lesson, so forgive me if I am repeating something someone already posted.
OP wrote: " 'Save some money for the flight to Abu Simble from Aswan.' Yes, definitely going there, I know I need to make a reservation once I arrive." You do not need to wait until you arrive. You can book and pay for your tickets ahead of time if you want: www.egyptair.com. The website does not have a search by price feature, so if you want to get the best price you might have to check each flight separately. I did this yesterday and booked a one way flight to Aswan for 225 Egyptian Pounds (about $40). Flights later in the day were more than twice as expensive. A Bostonian in Cairo |
If the OP wishes the Abu Simbel extension/option, this can be arranged thru the tour operator chosen.
