Egypt - cruise shore excursions
 

Last fall I read a report about a wonderful 2-day shore excursion with Nile Blue Excursions. This spring, all the entries seem to be about Ramses Tours. I see no new reports on Nile Blue. Has anyone had experience with both? Anyone taken a tour with Nile Blue this spring? Any other company you would recommend. We are a group of 6 stopping in Egypt in October 2011. Thanks!

I have been on Ramses Tours, in 2009, and found it quite satisfying in both terms of cost/value and in plain terms of the quality of the guides. I can't offer any comparison, obviously, but I was satisfied.

I havent used Ramses Tours so cant comment on them unfortunately.

We, and some others on here, have used Egypt Quality Tours and they have always been excellent with us.

Also Casual Cairo gets good reviews on here too.

Either way I think you'll have a fab time in Egypt, and im sure want to go back for a longer holiday!! 2 days will give you a good start but Im sure you will want to get back there on your next holiday.

We booked with Golden Egypt tours and our guide Mohamed took us through the main areas of Cairo we visited the pyramids & the Egyptian museum , but the tour also included the Camel ride at pyramids Area, which are an additional charge, but it was promotion from the travel company and this is likely the cruise ship tours skip in the pyramids stop. If you do go on a cruise tour, you'll see the camels at the pyramids area ,but if you asked your guide he will say to you it is not included & It needs additional coast , Camel ride at Pyramids area is the most awesome attraction of all the excursion.
