Egypt

Does anyone know Kensington Tours? I am planning a trip with my husband, nephew and 93 year-old Dad. Would this be a good tour?

We used Trafalgar tours for our Egypt trip and would highly recommend them. The only caution I would have about taking your dad is that there are LOTS of stairs in Egypt and very few elevators. DH has bad knees and he had to forgo some of the temples and parts of the Egyptian museum because of his knees. He still had a great time, but it is a fairly challenging tour for someone who has health issues. If your dad is pretty energetic and able to handle stairs, then I say go for it and check out Trafalgar. They have a couple of really nice Egypt itineraries.

Is it a group tour? Have you considered a private tour? They are quite reasonable in comparison to a group tour price (especially with 4 people) and that way you can make your own itinerary and go at your own pace.

Oops - meant to add blog link - we travel to Egypt in January 2008 and were very happy with our guide/travel planner Ahmed Hamed Yousif....see blog for itinerary details
