Dutch Embassy in Rabat: warning for Western tourists .

We will stay from 22 Feb until the 25 of Feb in Marrakech. The other day I read a warning in a Dutch newspaper, informing me that Western tourists should take all possible precautions when travelling through the touristic cities in Morocco. This with a possible war against Iraq in view.

When contacting the Dutch embassy in Rabat, Morocco, this afternoon, I received the same warning. to be very careful I was also told that public life would become a chaos as soon the war against Irag is starting. This situation could turn out to be extremely dangerous, first of all for American and Western tourists.
Western tourist should avoid the Moroccan tourist cities in the situation where there will be an threatening attack on Iraq.

The embassy asked for my gsm telephonenumber and hotel in Marrakech.

Are there other warnings in other western countries not to travel in Marocco? We are seriously doubting
if it is safe to go: at this moment the (cancelling) insurance will not pay us back when we cancel our trip!
