Dudley Sabi Sands
In reading some threads on this post, I read about Dudley, which seems to be owned privately and is not open to visitors (except maybe some who visit the property during game drives, but do not overnight in the property).
Are there such private areas within the Sabi Sands that are owned and used exclusively by a family. And, do they ever come up for sale? and what's the price? I can start playing Powerball if they do come up for sale from time to time. Thanks, Michael |

They do come up for sale but are offered to existing land owners first.Small exclusive club.Londolozi Safari lodge was recently sold for +-R25 million(2000 hectares) to Sabi Sabi. I suppose Dudley will sell for at least $ 20 million us.Londoz will be first in line here. I am sure Singita will buy Mr Robsons farm if given the chance! There is also a sizable farm in the Western sector that is privately owned. |
How did Branson then buy Ulusaba?

"Offered to existing land owners first".If the existing land owners find the price unacceptable it's then offered to the general public. Thus Mr Branson was willing to pay more for Ulusaba than anyone else owning property in the SSGR. tú comprendes? |
