Dubai / Oman / AbuDhabi or Sharjah in Feb 2010
Hello! We are planning a trip to Dubai / Oman in Feb 2010 for 10 days with our son who will then be 2 years old (We were initially considering Turkey or Greece, but figured it may be easier to do Dubai with a toddler / stroller etc - i hope we have made a reasonably good choice..)
We are planning to spend 4 days in Dubai and 3 days in Muscat. We also want to go to Al Ain - will this be a possible day trip from Muscat? Are 3 days enough for Muscat? For the remaining two days, we are not sure if we should do Abu Dhabi, Bahrain or Sharjah. Any recommendations there? Must sees / must dos in all of these places?
Most importantly, since we are going to be there with our toddler, i wanted to check if all of these places are kid / stroller friendly? Anything specific we should know traveling to this part of the world with a kid?
Thank you!

I was just in Oman and Dubai in Sept. but was alone so can't give you any tips on traveling with a toddler. Dubai is not a walking city but taxis are plentiful and cheap-don't know about Oman since I had a guide there but enjoyed the souks of Muscat/Nizwa and the waterfront. It was 42C when I visited-should be a lot more comfortable for you.
In Dubai, I enjoyed the museum, Bastakia area and Dubai Mall(it's more than a mall).

Personally, I think that Dubai will be hard with a toddler in a stroller. For a 2 year old,its basically you walking with him around the various malls or possibly on the beach(if they ever cleaned up the sewage that was leaking into it?)
As an adult, you can do the souks, take the boat ride and possibly the desert safari but that would be impossible with a young child.
I reread your other posts and am wondering why you are choosing Dubai over someplace else that might be more kid friendly.
