Drivers in Morocco
 

Hello,

Any suggestions/contact information for independent drivers in Morocco? We are planning our own itinerary and will need a driver from Tangier to Chefchaouen, Chefchaouen to Fez, Fez to Marrakesh, Marrakesh to Essaouira and Essaouira to Casablanca. Yes, I know the train goes on some routes but will be traveling with my 80-year old mom and prefer a car. Thank you.

Hi, rhorho, I don't know if you read my other posts, but I do recommend Salem Karaoui of Moroccan Family. This is a small, family-run agency and he was our driver for our 2 weeks in Morocco recently, and just a wonderful companion for our trip. I would contact him to see if he is able to provide a driver for your trip. As I wrote on other posts recently, he went above and beyond and we had a fantastic time with him.

We had a driver for a few days that we booked in advance through a TA, but then got the rest of our drivers thru the places we stayed. There was no problem doing it this way. We also took the train from Tangier to Casablanca and I will say in 1st class it was very comfortable.
