My riad recommended stall #1 for couscous and #14 for fish. I had the chicken couscous at #1 and it was quite good. Was too full at that point tontry#14, so went to the olive souk and bought some olives to go.

CC, as I mentioned earlier, 2017 trip is DH's big birthday trip. His choice went from Morocco - to China - to Vietnam - back to Morocco, and this is set now. The other 2 are on the short list for future trips. Wish we had more time and $$
Hope you'll get to that TR...even a summary one.

MinnBeef, I could live on olives (and cheese, and a few other things), so I'm really excited about being able to sample various kinds of olives. The black cured ones are some of my favorites...yum!

Hi, xyz99,
What a great thread! I'm now in early planning for a trip for next year - most likely April 2018 - and am getting so much info from this thread. I hope you come back and share your experiences! My thoughts about the trip are along the lines of your itinerary, only we'll probably have just 2 weeks for the trip -- I know, not easy!

I'll post my own tentative draft itinerary when I get a chance, but am really interested in hearing about your experience when you're back.

Hi Paule,
Sorry...I haven't seen this until now. Unfortunately, we had to cancel the trip. I am still sad about it, not only for losing the un-refundable flight tickets, but for losing the opportunity to see what I think it's an amazing country. Some other day, for sure.
