Doohickey is going back to Tanzania!

I can't believe it but it's true

DH and I will be going on another Tanzania safari in March 2011. This time we'll be going with two other couples whose company we very much enjoy and who have never been on a safari. It'll be another Thomson Safaris trip and will be all tented camps except for our first night and last day in Arusha. 11 nights in-country. Whee!

I've been monitoring this forum for a couple of weeks now and it's so good to "see" many of the safari afficianados who helped me plan our first trip. You're kinda like old friends "Jambo!", to you all!!!

Okay, our air tickets are purchased and we are under deposit. Wheeeee! We’ll be traveling with 2 couples – good friends of ours whom we know we travel well with. Our group of 6 booked our air on our own through DL/KL. All Tanzania land arrangements through Thomson Safaris.

Why Thomson? Several reasons including…They did right by us last time; I really like how they take care of us all the way through. We wanted tented camps and Thomson’s are in the sweet spot for our group between low-end and ultra-luxury. It was important that our vehicle be a Land Rover with a pop-top. The itinerary and price were great
