Domestic Flts. JNB/Cape Town

Does anyone know of a domestic airline with frequent flights between JNB and Cape Town, and what the approximate cost of a one way flight is?
I found a great fare and connections on the int'l flight to JNB, but not so lucky with Cape Town, so I thought I'd just book them separately. TIA for any info.

Hello Panecott,

There are a number of airlines flying the CPT-JNB route: 1time, Kulula, Nationwide, SAA, and BA. Kulula and 1Time are both budget airlines which usually (though not always) have the best fares. If you book far enough in advance, you can fly for R299 one-way ($49 at current exchange rates).

Cheers,
Julian

Sorry -- forgot to mention that that R299 fare was on Kulula.

Cheers,

Thank you, Julian. I found fares in mid-May for $78, which is pretty good. I can arrive in JNB at 9 p.m., sleep at a hotel, and fly out to CPT the next morning, for less than the cost of the NYC/CPT flights I found, which take 29+ hrs. and arrive at ungodly hours like 4 a.m.
And I'll get a good night's sleep in the process! Thanks again.

Our Kulula flight in January turned out to be a BA flight - so we were fed!
