Distance Kruger Park to Kasane airport
I am a little unclear how far it is from the airport in Kasane to Kruger. One place said "close". Can you get to the lodges by car?. I'm not really wanting to drive myself

If it's KASANE (Botswana) it's alllll way around and takes a week ? Closer to a week than a day as KASANE is opposit Zambia - border crossing by boat.
I don't know another Kasane.

Kasane is in Botswana and sure wouldn't be, if driving, be close to Kruger. If flying, then it could probably be considered close... about 2/hrs, depending on where at Kruger you'd be landing. Besides, not sure where you'd clear Immigration as you'd be leaving one country and entering another.
What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

Kasane is in the north eastern corner of Botswana, next to the Chobe National Park. From Kasane Airport to Chobe National Park is very short, less than half an hour by car. Typically you would not self-drive this, your tour operator will arrange road transfers for you to the lodge where you are staying.
The Kruger National Park is in South Africa, and to get there from Kasane means a two hour flight to Johannesburg first, then a 5 hour drive by road. There is also a direct flight from Livingstone Airport in Zambia to Nelspruit, close to the Kruger National Park, on certain days of the week.
Most clients who combine Chobe (Kasane) with Kruger, spend at least one night in Johannesburg as a stop over.
I hope this answers your question!
