Cyber-cafe

Being from a small town in Minnesota I have never set foot in a cyber cafe. Will my regular hotmail account be accessible to communicate with my family back home, and is there anything else I should know about using a cyber-cafe in egypt?

Your hotmail account should be easily accessable from any cyber cafe. I have the above excite account for the same reason. Just go into the cafe, log on to your home page HTML...for example:www.excite.com (or whatever hotmail is) then log into your account as per usual. The only problems I ever encountered in cyber cafe's abroad were wacky keyboards! (German letters.. etc, I have no idea what your challenges will be in Egypt. )

Amy, I just thought I'd let you know that the Hilton in Cairo has an internet cafe. We didn't stay at the Hilton, but walked there every night to use the cafe. We had no problem getting on-line and sending our e-mails back to the states.
