Current Restaurant Recommendations in Cape Town
 

We are departing for Cape Town in 4 weeks. Please recommend some restaurants. Restaurants are always changing; so we would appreciate recent experiences. We enjoy seafood, but nothing fried or spicy. Is it a good idea to make dinner reservations in advance? After Cape Town, we will go to Mala Mala and Ngala Tented. Thank you so much for your advice.

I was in Cape Town in December and we had dinner at a neighborhood Cajun/Creole seafood restaurant called Miller's Thumb. It was a funky little place, very colorfully decorated with delicious food and fabulous service. 10b Kloofnek Road

P.S. Even tho it's Cajun/Creole note everything is spicy.

Thank you so much for the restaurant info. We have made some dinner reservations. We are very excited for our first trip to Africa, which now is just 3 weeks away! Again, many thanks to all of you for your excellent advice on many aspects of our trip!
