Cost to hire car/driver/guide for 14 day trip from Casbalnca to Marrakech

Hi All- Looking for approximate daily costs to hire a driver/guide and car for a couple travelling from Casablanca to Marrakech stopping at the typlical places, Fes, Chefchouan, Merzouga, Dades, etc. About 14 days. Looking for recommendations as well.
Any information is appreciated.

I can’t help with the cost info, but perhaps some of my other comments will prove of use.

· First, Morocco is very easy to visit without a car, driver, or guide … with the important exception of getting to a desert camp, and for that, it might make most sense to work with your camp to make arrangements. Public transportation -- trains and buses -- are very comfortable. Consult seat61.com for more info.

· “The typical places” you list are, I think, not necessarily the best places for a 14-day visit to Morocco.
o I’m sure you realize that Merzouga is primarily a base for a trip into the desert at Erg Chelebi. I was glad to go instead to Erg Chigaga.

o I skipped Chefchouan after several friends told me it has become shoddy and is now overrun by tourists.

o Rabat – not only your list – is IMO one of Morocco’s gems.

· With 14 days, I think you will be hard pressed to see everything you want to see – but of course, that depends on what, exactly you want to see and experience. Have you looked at the Moon Guide? It’s excellent.

You might find some useful information in my trip report:

I hope that helps!
