Consolidators for Tickets to Israel?
Hi, does anyone know which consolidators are the best? I'm thinking of flying to Tel Aviv.
I live in NYC. Thanks. |
Buy a copy of the Village Voice or open the NYC Yellow Pages - lots of consolidators. However, El Al often has competitive prices, depending on when you're traveling.
Check www.kayak.com to search for carriers who fly the route, non-stop preferably. You'll get an idea of prices for your time of travel so you can compare with consolidators. |
Hi, I've been Kayak for Memorial Day weekend. So far cheapest is Continental for $1751 -- leave Friday and back Monday (but flight arrives Tuesday early morning). Seems way too high for Israel.
El Al may not work because I don't think it has flights that leave NYC Fridays. |
Lots going against you to find a "deal".
- holiday weekend - weekend, which has surcharges - short stay Check the Village Voice for consolidators. |
111op, I've got some interesting news.

Hey, I just caught this. I've not been on Fodor's much. Feel free to tell me your news on op 111 op 111 @hotmail.com (remove the spaces), starrsville. Hope you've been well.

Mail is on the way. Hope you enjoy it :-)

Thanks. I'll check it later in the evening. I can't access personal e-mail from work. Ah, the tyrannies of a day job.
I didn't go to Tel Aviv, by the way (to keep this somewhat on topic), but I flew to London for Memorial Day. The weather sucked. It rained a lot and it was cold. Since I bought my ticket so late the only reasonable ticket I could find was on Air India, which I survived. The flights were delayed both ways but otherwise not as bad as I had feared. |
