When I first noticed those featured reports I thought, "Oh Patty would be great at that." There are certainly MANY excellent trip reports, but is anyone as organized as Patty to actually put the whole thing together for Fodor's?

Congrats on a job well done.

p.s. We know you're planning Thailand, but don't forget Uganda!

Planning my trip this time round I am realising just how fantastically well conceived and planned this trip was. An inspiration! =D>

A star in our midst! But we knew that. Nice to see one of our own getting kudos!

Great job.

... a few years back I noticed one of my postings about the WOW factor of great places to visit around the world. I should do a search and see if it's still available on Fodors. It was pretty good now that I recall it. Will let you know.

Again, Patty - great.

Safari Fodorites:

Now that you have very nicely helped me plan my trip to Kenya and gotten me addicted to look at every one of your postings, have you thought about having a gathering in person of the fellow addicts for a stay or even a trip together somewhere in Africa? Just a thought. (Watching you folks debate where to go would be fun in and of itself.)

Great report and photos Patty, although we don't want to appeal to the masses too much .
Free trip is in order from Fodor's.

starerk~there will be 4 Fodorites at the same camp in Zambia later in the year (May early June I believe) and there's talk of some of us meeting up in Uganda for gorilla trekking (Patty?)

Congrats on the featured report, Patty. You have become the Fodorite equivalent of a cover girl!

Looking forward to the group reports that may result from the foursome in Zambia and the (hopefully) gorilla group.

Hey Lynn and Dennis! If you count spouses, we'll have seven of us at the camp! (Me being the odd one out....)
You're right though - it will be fun to read each of our perspectives on the trip.

I should add that if all goes as planned, I will be hanging out with Julian (Jasher) on this forum in London for the day, and potentially could see Kavey on my way back out.... this trip will be a veritable Fodorama!!!
