Comparing a few cities in Morocco

I am comparing a couple of itineraries for Morocco. Both include Marrakesh, Erfoud, Ouarzazate & Casablanca. One has Rabat & Fez (with a possible day trip to Essaouira & camels into the desert for an extra charge). The other, less expensive option, has Boumaine Dades, Agadir & staying in Essaouira and includes the camel into the desert. While the difference in price isn't a deal breaker, I would of course like to spend less. I'm more interested in your thoughts on the differences in cities on the itineraries. Thanks for any input!

Fes is a must for any trip to Morocco. We lived in wonderful Rabat for five years so that's the trip I'd take.

I agree. If you're going to Morocco you should for sure see Fez. I preferred it to Marrakesh. I also found Rabat a good starting point. You can do Essaouira by bus yourself.

Thanks. That is the one I was leaning toward.

One more vote for Fes. I loved it, while I only liked Marrakech.
