The other day I cam across a cheap ticket and an 18 day tour of SA (about $2200). I didn't pursue it because we were planning on going next year, not now, but when I mentioned it to DH, he suggested we go this year. However, I have searched all the usual suspects (emails, American Airlines, bestfares.com) and can't find it again. Does anyone remember seeing this offer in the last week?

That's not the one but I'm glad to have your recommendation. Can you extend your trip or do you have to come home on their schedule? We want to spend a few more days in Cape Town with a friend who lives there.

Have you looked into this company? Not sure if it is the one you are looking for. Their prices include airfare. I have never used them, but a friend took their trip to East Africa and was really happy with everything.
