I've been having waaaaaay to much fun now that my son has helped me figure out the paint program in the computer.
I hope they make you laugh. I sure am having fun playing around!

Very cool Lilli, but I think you need to go back to planning a trip to Africa...you have WAY too much time on your hands!
My favorite is the elephant with the booties!
Happy Holidays!

I am planning a trip for 2010. We are thinking of one week at Mashatu and one week with Massons on a mobile.
Of course I still haven't finished my trip report from last summer. But that's because I've been busy with other distractions!

Those are way too funny. Esp. liked the elephant with the sunglasses and lots of the others.

Those are just way too cool!!! Loved them!

Now who was it that was looking for unusual African Christmas cards a while back? Now I know someone had mentioned they wanted 'hand-done' African christmas cards so they could benefit a charity in Africa, but just think - these are 'hand-done' and you could get assortment boxes printed up, sell them to all of us, & use the profits to buy stuff for schools in Africa.

There, see, I just solved most of the worlds problems! Well, maybe not all, but some....

These are absolutely a riot. Some of the underlying photos are really nice too, such as the #1 buffalo drinking.

Great minds think alike. I sent out about 5 similar greetings last year with the same hat. But I halted at a handful. You have an entire gallery. Isn't anyone getting their pets spayed anymore? You seem to be the lady of leisure.

Well as a matter of fact business at the animal hospital has been slooooow, scary slooooow. My boss has been in business for almost 3o years and he has never seen it this slow. We are all working fewer hours which means less $$$$ in the old paycheck. I have even had to dip into my Africa $$ set aside for my trip in 2010 just to buy groceries! If this keeps up I won't get back to Africa for a looooong time!
And ever since a low cost spay neuter clinic opened up the # of spays and neuters we do has dropped significantly. I think a low cost spay/neuter program for people who can't afford regular vet fees is a wonderful thing. The problem we are seeing is many people who CAN pay regular vet fees are using the low cost program. We have some clients who purchased very expensive purebred dogs who turn around and use the low cost clinic. That ain't right! But then that's a topic for the lounge!
I'm glad you enjoyed the pix- I have to give my son credit for some of the captions. He's very clever and came up with some good ideas.

Lillipets,

thank you so much for this fun post that brightened my morning at work. I've sent the link to others who will appreciate the humour!

My favourites were the elephant in Xmas booties, the dassie and the lion in Xmas mittens.

Cheers,

Pol
